Take some time to relax and balance the fiery, active energy of the pitta season with a cooling, relaxing, yin yoga, meditation and breath practice.
A special summer class with longer held yin style poses to tap into our energy and encouraging calm leaving a centered feeling in body, mind, and spirit.
In the Five Elements system fire rules the heart and circulatory system, It is a time to nourish the heart, small intestines, spleen, and pancreas. To balance and synchronise with the element of fire the workshop is devoted to restorative postures that open the chest, lungs, and arms, containing the meridian lines that connect to these organs. Concluding with a guided meditation.
Yin yoga is a style of yoga which encourages you receive longer holds in the postures and the muscles to relax deeply. It is a practice of going sow and deeply surrendering. Postures are held using props to encourage a deep letting go.
